How is a bespoke work made?
Send a photo of the wall with its width and a few words about light and mood. Within 48 hours Paolo proposes three designs for that space: choose yours and the work is made by hand in the workshop.
How much does a RAKAU work cost?
It depends on size, woods and the complexity of the geometry. Available works show their price on their page; for a bespoke work the price is written in each proposal, before any commitment.
Which woods does RAKAU use?
Natural woods chosen one by one for grain and colour, such as walnut, oak, spalted maple, cherry and burnt wood. No two pieces are alike.
Do you ship abroad?
Yes. Insured shipping is included within Italy; for other countries the cost depends on the destination and is stated before purchase.
Is every work truly one of a kind?
Yes. Every work is composed by hand, signed and numbered, and comes with a certificate listing the woods used and the date it was made.
