Terms of sale

Last updated: 5 November 2026

1. Who sells

The works are sold directly by their author: Paolo Angelini, artist (artist name RAKAU), email info@rakaustudio.com.

2. The works

Every work is one of a kind, made by hand, signed and numbered, with a certificate of authenticity. Wood is a natural material: grain, knots and shades may differ slightly from the photos, which are as faithful as possible. Stated sizes may vary by a few millimetres.

3. How to buy

From the page of an available work, send a request with "Bring this work home". Within 48 hours you receive an email with the summary: work, price, shipping cost and time, payment method. The contract is concluded when you confirm by email and pay; until then the work may still be sold to someone else.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in euros and are those shown on the work's page at the time of the request. Payment is by bank transfer or secure payment link. The work is shipped once payment is received.

5. Shipping and delivery

Insured shipping included within Italy. For shipments abroad the cost depends on the destination and is stated in the summary, before payment. Outside the European Union, any import duties and taxes are paid by the buyer. Works travel packed and insured; delivery times are stated in the summary. Collection from the workshop is possible by appointment.

6. On delivery

Check the packaging in front of the courier. If it is damaged, accept it "with reservation" and write to me within 48 hours at info@rakaustudio.com with a few photos: I will handle the claim with the courier and the insurance.

7. Change of mind

Although this is a private sale, for an available work you may ask to return it within 14 days of delivery by writing to info@rakaustudio.com: the work must come back intact in its packaging, return shipping is at your expense and the refund is made within 14 days of its return. Bespoke works are excluded, as they are created for your space.

8. Bespoke works

The three initial proposals are free and without commitment. If you decide to go ahead, price, size, woods and timing are set out in an email confirmation, together with the payment terms (for example a deposit and the balance before shipping). You can ask for changes to the design before work starts; once work has begun any deposit is not refundable.

9. Copyright

With the purchase you receive the physical work; copyright remains with the artist. You may photograph and show it freely for personal use; commercial use of images requires an agreement. Photos of the work may appear in the artist's portfolio, without naming the buyer.

10. Law and disputes

Italian law applies. If there is any problem, write to me and we will find a solution. If the buyer is a consumer, the courts of their place of residence have jurisdiction and the mandatory protections of their country remain unaffected.
